George joined Cupid plc as Chairman and Non-Executive Director in June 2010.

George is also Non-Executive Chairman of AIM-quoted Craneware plc, a leading supplier of revenue cycle software to US healthcare organisations and was, until recently, Non-Executive Chairman of Kewill plc, a leading supplier of trade and logistics software, which was listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Corsair Components Inc, a manufacturer and supplier of high performance components to the PC gaming hardware market, based in Fremont, California.

From 2000 to 2007 George was Chief Financial Officer of Wolfson Microelectronics plc and during that period oversaw the company gain entry into the FTSE 250 index. Previously he was Business Development Director at McQueen International Ltd (now SYKES), where he was responsible for strategic sales and marketing. George, formerly a partner of Grant Thornton, is a Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot-Watt University.

George is a member of the Remuneration Committee and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Cupid plc.

Bill is an experienced entrepreneur and director specialising in internet, telecoms and technology businesses. He has led a number of successful private equity funded businesses and retired from a 7-year spell at Iomart PLC (IOM) spanning founder to non-exec positions before setting up Cupid, and investing in a small portfolio of Internet businesses.

Bill has been a Director of Demon Internet, Prestel, Teledata, Scottish Telecom (Thus) and several other companies.

His early career was with Unisys in the UK and Australia.

Bill is currently a non-executive director of Maxymiser Ltd a provider of online marketing software and services and Tag-Games Ltd a provider of mobile and social games.

Bill has an Honours degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of St.Andrews, and an MBA from the University of Glasgow.

Prior to joining Cupid plc in April 2010, Mark spent 4 years as CFO and COO of Australian Stock Exchange listed Jumbuck Entertainment Ltd, one of the world leaders in mobile chat and dating.

Mark has many years experience with fast growing international businesses having been CFO of Edinburgh based web learning company The Interactive University and listed technology company Memory Corporation plc. Mark has also co-founded a growing software business.

Mark is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University in Accountancy and Finance and is a PWC qualified Scottish CA.

Ian McCaig, 45, spent 8 years at internet travel business, lastminute.com, and as CEO for the last 5 years he led the evolution of the business from a high growth early stage internet business to a mature and established company.

Before that, Mr McCaig held senior management positions at Nokia and Telewest Communications. Mr McCaig currently serves as CEO of First Utility, the energy provider and smart metering innovator.

Russell James Shaw, 49, was Vice President and General Manager of Skype Europe, Middle-East and Africa and Mobile from 2009 to 2011. Prior to this, Mr Shaw spent four years at Telefonica SA, initially as Marketing Director of O2, and latterly as the Global Director of Innovation, following its acquisition by Telefonica.

He has also spent a year as Chief Executive of Mobileway Inc. and two years as Managing Director of NTL Home London for NTL Group Limited. His earlier experience includes positions at Charles Schwab Corporation, American Express Company and Ernst and Young.

Mr Shaw currently serves as a non-executive director on the Boards of mobile solutions businesses Unwire APS and Dialog Semiconductor GmbH, and video games retailer, Game Group plc. He is also Chairman of the Marketing Board of Great Britain.

Phil Gripton has spent the past 3 years in Digital Marketing with the leading marketing and technology services agency LBi. In his roles as COO and prior to that MD of the acquired bigmouthmedia business, has led the evolution of the agency with particular focus on the growth of the media business and its integration into the LBi group.

Prior to that Phil spent 20 year in senior leadership roles with technology businesses including Cable & Wireless, Energis ,Parametric Technology Corporation and ICL.

Phil’s brings a wealth of digital marketing experience together with commercial and general management track-record and has consistently created and developed efficient, high-performing businesses.

Phil has a BA honours Degree in computer science & business and lives in Edinburgh with his family.

Niall joined Cupid plc as CFO in January 2013. He brings over 20 years’ experience in senior financial and operational roles in branded consumer businesses in the UK, US and across Europe.

Having trained with Ernst & Young he worked at Coca-Cola Schweppes and then as Finance Director Brands for  Highland Distillers, owners of The Famous Grouse and The Macallan. As Commercial Director at Maxxium he successfully set up what was then a new joint venture, a premium drinks distributor turning over ?300m. He then spent 5 years with Red Bull, including 2 years as CFO of Red Bull North America Inc.  Prior to joining Cupid Niall spent 4 years as CFO and then Executive Director of Operations of the Performing Rights Society.

Niall has an MA in Pure Mathematics from the University of St Andrews and is a Scottish CA.

Tatyana has in-depth knowledge of the online marketing arena and has been responsible for creating and optimising campaigns for several years.

Experienced in customer database management, she has been an instrumental part of the marketing team. Prior to Cupid plc, Tatyana worked at Ukrtelecom - one of the biggest telecommunication providers in Eastern Europe.

She has an Honours degree in Information Technology.

Vladimir has over 12 years experience creating and developing a wide variety of complex B2C solutions, from ISPs to online dvd rental systems and online auction security services.

He has operational responsibility for the team at Cupid plc, overseeing development, functionality and product output.

He has a post-graduate degree in Radiophysics and a Master in Computer Science.

Fabrice has over 14 years experience in Business Development & Online Marketing with an international background.

He spent 3 years at FriendFinder Networks as a strategic and business development manager, prior to Cupid plc.

His main focus is to define and to negotiate new partnerships and business opportunities in North America.

He has a BA in Sales and Marketing.

Based in San Francisco Area.

She has over 5 years online marketing experience within the internet dating industry.

Alexandra has an excellent grasp of all aspects of online marketing and a deep understanding of this marketplace.

She has an MS degree in Foreign Languages and literature.

Alina Meller is head of the Support department. She has previous experience as head of customer support having spent 3 years in this role with an American company.

Alina graduated from University in Economics and Law.

Sean joined the company in 2006 following on from several years in a marketing role at another successful internet business where he was part of a team who built and launched a network of ecommerce stores for a national IT reseller and distributor.

Before the internet came into our lives, Sean spent a number of years in the media industry both in the UK and in Spain, when he was responsible for the launch of several regional newspaper and magazine titles. During his term as Managing Director at an Edinburgh Publishing house he successfully built up the commercial publishing arm of the company and expanded the company's offerings into direct marketing and news agency sales.

Sean was educated at Edinburgh's Napier University where he gained a degree in Publishing.

Konstantin Yaroshenko has over 8 years of IT experience.

He graduated from Zaporozhe’s National Technical University and joined Cupid plc in 2006 as a QA tester. A result of the company’s talent management, Konstantin rose quickly to Head of all Development, QA testers and System Administrators teams in 3 different locations. His responsibilities include the development and support of a scalable PHP/MySQL system, spread between two datacentres, to provide a trouble-free platform for the business.

Outstanding performance and continuous training led to him becoming Cupid’s CTO in 2012.
